About

I am Tran Nguyen Bao, an undergraduate Computer Science student at the University of Information Technology (UIT), VNUHCM. On 25th July 2023, I had a presentation with my partner about our graduation thesis. It was an interesting experience for me because I learned a lot from our mistakes and gained new ideas from the council's feedback. Currently, I am in the process of completing my certification to submit it for graduation. During my academic period, I developed a strong interest in Computer Vision. Since my freshman year, I have actively participated as an undergraduate researcher at UIT-Together Research Group. Alongside other students in the research group, we have presented our work at several conferences such as NCIS, RIVF, and MAPR, all in the field of object detection. For my graduation thesis, I collaborated with Minh, a research student in the same group, and together, we focused on Scene Text Detection, a critical facet of Computer Vision.
